OUR FALL FROM HEAVEN

The majority of the people on earth, whether in a body or without one, have no recollection of ever having lived in Heaven, no recollection of the revolution that took place there and how they chose to subject themselves to Lucifer rather than to Christ.

What promises must Lucifer have made that were so enticing that we were willing to give up our heavenly happiness for? What did we want or need that we did not already have in abundance? Was it greed that made us want more? Was it pride that gave us to think that we were too good to remain under Christ’s rule? Was it jealousy as it was with Lucifer that reared its ugly head?

Since these are some of the attitudes or sins that we brought with us to earth, could we have had those attitudes while in Heaven also? Or why did Lucifer think he could win us over if it did not seem to him that he had a chance with us? We had free will then as we do now, and we were not perfect there after our sin as we are not perfect here.

Our negative attitude did not appear within us in our present life only, no, we have carried these from the time of our fall, and it is imperative that we make a conscious effort to rid ourselves of them, They are so ingrained within us, that it will take many lifetimes of constant work to prepare ourselves to re-enter God’s heavenly abode.

GOD’S HELP

God, through His good spirits, is always present to help us through the difficult times. We sometimes ignore Him until we feel we need help, but His angels are always ministering to us in good and bad times. Now, what we consider to be difficult times are often those they celebrate. They are often times of decisions that propel us forward into the arms of God. Without these times, often our lives become stagnant or stressful and that is more of a suffering than the times of change.

So, fear not, when you are in the hands of God’s good spirits you are in good hands. God forgets no one, everyone is precious to Him, the faults to Him are opportunities to change your character and some people must take several detours in their lives to arrive at God, so be it, they will all reach Heaven in their own time. If even Lucifer will come to Christ in time, you may rest assured that everyone else will also succeed.

SPEAKING IN TONGUES

Churches who practice what they call “moved by the spirit”, think that speaking in tongues is proof that the holy spirit is speaking through the people in the congregation.

First of all, there are many holy spirits not just one; heaven is full of holy spirits. On the other hand there are also many low spirits as well as many evil spirits.

Speaking in tongues is no proof that holy spirits are communicating but only proof that spirits of any type can communicate through people. Depending on the character of the churches and of its people, any kind of spirit could be speaking through the congregation. Also, if the spirits are speaking in a language unknown to the congregation, how do they know what these spirits are saying? They could be cursing God and no one would know it.

The people who can allow the spirits to speak through them have the gift of mediumship which allows them to expel their spirit to the point where another spirit can take its place and use the person’s speech apparatus to speak. These gifted people would be such an advantage to their churches if they could practice letting the good spirits speak through them in the language of the congregation. These high spirits, like in biblical days, could explain God’s truths to the churches guide them through the pitfalls, correct their errors. But the churches do not ever go past the speaking in tongues, and if the mediums spoke in their language, the church would say it was an evil spirit. So then who are these spirits, many of whom speak only glossolalia, which is gibberish? The bible warns against spirits who speak gibberish and St. Paul tries to teach the people to refuse a spirit who speaks in foreign languages unless there is someone who can translate that language so all can understand.

 REDEMPTION

Christ died for our sins, so wherein did the redemption lie? God allowed His first and only son to be incarnated here on earth , the realm that is the highest realm of hell and under Lucifer’s jurisdiction. The amount of suffering which Christ endured during his life on earth is not recorded anywhere. His death on the cross at the hands of the people who used to be his subjects must have been difficult to endure knowing that he had been betrayed by the same people that he had cared for in heaven before their fall.

After his death, Christ was now in a position to fight his number one enemy, Lucifer, who had led the fall of the spirits. Christ fought and won the battle, reducing Lucifer’s hold on all spirits who had changed their minds and hearts and wished to return to God with Christ as their ruler once more.

The churches say that if you believe in Christ you are now saved, but this is only the first step. We must then earn our way back to heaven, it is not magic. But Christ has redeemed us from Lucifer’s hold and we need now to follow God’s precepts and lead a holy life to complete our redemption. Christ’s death on the cross was only a prerequisite, He could not battle Lucifer as long as he was in a body, he had to be in spirit form as Lucifer was.

  GOD'S WILL FOR US

God’s will for us should be our will for ourselves, willing otherwise is defeatism. Why would anyone wish to be on the side where Lucifer resides and let him oppress us with his will? If we do not choose to do the will of God then whose will do we wish to follow? We cannot live in two camps at the same time.

We know that Lucifer and all of his followers are unhappy, is that what we want for ourselves? Of course we hear of all the followers of Christ who were tortured by the evil ones, and we think, “ I don’t want that for myself”, but in theses stories, we are never told of the great happiness that they received, so much so that they were not as bothered by the suffering as were the onlookers.

Not that we will suffer at the hands of the evil people of our time for our decision to follow Christ, but the evil spirits will try to make our lives difficult. But who is more powerful, God and Christ or the evil ones? God may allow them their time but He will never allow them to defeat us. After all they have no power but the power that God allows them and He can take that away at any time that He wishes to do so. So follow Christ, there is where happiness resides.
