THE SOURCE OF LIFE

Like a river, life flows, and we with it, collecting all types of debris on its way. It is not good enough to flow with the river, but we must fight constantly to move against the current, avoiding the debris, to make our way to the head of the river where the water runs clear and unimpeded, where the water is always fresh and where there is nothing between us and the source.

The river of life is such a river and most flow along happily, not concerned with the contamination in their lives, quite comfortable with Lucifer’s debris and even accepting it without any effort to avoid it. But we are here on earth to fight our way back upstream where the waters are clear and where God is the source, the never ending source of clarity and love. It is a difficult trip but the only one worth the fight. When we have eventually reached the source of all life, we will be ready to enter the kingdom of God and of all the good spirits whom we have relied on to make our way to the source.

HONESTY

Honesty is the backbone of all good character, and this country has a great need for it. Our leaders have fallen into such dishonest practices and we are being asked to re-elect them to govern. We must always put the desires of our conscience aside in order to perform this task. But no matter whom we choose, the rulers of this country always end up being persuaded by each other to put their good character aside in order to effect any progress.

There are, however, many people and many elected officials who have no interest in honesty. As long as they can receive as much as the country can offer, they are satisfied. It makes no difference to them that they forever take from others and do not care to use their free will to earn their keep; and these are the parasites who keep this country from flourishing as the country that God created, through our forefathers, to be the home of His chosen people, their new land, that was given to them to prosper as an example to the world.

GUIDANCE

God and His holy spirits are constantly guiding us in everything that we do. It is up to us to recognize this guidance and to follow it. Of course Lucifer and his minions are also interested in guiding us and we must recognize this also. The nearer we are to God and Christ the more likely we will choose the higher path with God’s guidance, the more selfish we are, the more difficult it is for us to choose.

But God is a forgiving God and if we miss the mark, He will give us other opportunities or more time to execute the tasks we are given. God’s spirits never give up on us so we must always persist and renew ourselves and our determination. Missing our destiny altogether is not likely if we are in God’s camp.

OUR TALENTS

All talents we hold are from God Himself. It is up to us to accept them and develop them, and since they are from God, how better to use them, than for the service of God. We often use these talents in what seems to be the service of man but this is also for the progress of mankind and is therefore in the service of God.

Those who use their talents for themselves alone are not serving God but only serving their selfish desires, serving their ego and looking for praise and attention from others.

All of life’s purpose is to raise oneself to the higher realms and to help others do likewise. The fruits of earthly life are not of any value, like fruit on a tree, they last a short time and if not put to good use will wither and die. So too our earthly desires are short lived and in the end we will have wasted our talents and our time. So look to God for guidance for the use of your talents since you would not have them if it were not for God.

GIFTS FROM GOD

Often we hear from a preacher, “God called me to preach His word”, and we think this is not so unusual, but the preachers seem to be the only ones who admit that God gave them this revelation.

Many other people receive revelations from God, some of them receive specific instructions to build something that will help mankind but they do not use it for that, rather they use it to enrich themselves or they keep it to themselves and never divulge it to the public.

If God gives us a gift it is to share it, not to horde it, God is never interested in giving gifts for the recipient only, but always to better mankind and to raise them to a higher level of thinking.

There are times when even though the person attempts to share, the evil ones in the world, prompted by the evil spirits, do away with the inventor or with his invention, but that should not stop anyone from attempting to share the gifts from God. If God sees how much interference we have, He may give the same revelation to several people at the same time and if they are all faithful in sharing, the evil one’s plans could be thwarted.

The world could be such a better place if everyone did their part in sharing their talents, gifts and revelations; the power would not remain with the negative and the evil which only serves to keep us down. How much more progressed we would be, to say nothing of the fulfillment of our obligation to obey God and assist Him in the salvation of the world.
