THE MEDIUM’S ENERGY

A medium needs be careful to allow only high spirits of God to enter and speak. At a séance or prayer meeting a Holy Spirit controls which spirits may speak through the medium and so all is done in order, as God is a God of order.

If the medium is not discerning or if the people present are not attaining a high vibration, then any spirit may enter and speak and this can create mayhem as low spirits use the same method to speak as the high ones do.

Also, the medium who is allowing low spirits to speak through him or her eventually loses much of his energy as the low spirits using it do not return it and eventually the medium loses his ability of medium ship. On the contrary a medium who allows only high holy spirits to enter, find himself with more energy after the occasion as the high sprits cleanses the energy and returns it to the medium.

THE NARROW PATH

The road to Heaven is but a very narrow path. We think that if we say we believe in God and keep some of the commandments that it will get us into Heaven because God will be good to us and excuse all of our sins. But we must at least keep all of the commandments to the extreme degree and conduct our lives in such a way that God and Christ are more important than anything or anyone. Jesus while on earth, explained that if we could not leave our mother or our brother etc. to follow him, we were not ready to enter the gates of Heaven, so if we do not follow the word of Christ in order to please any member or our family or any of our friends we are not deserving of Heaven.

Jesus also told us that it was very difficult for the rich to enter into Heaven and the reason is that most rich people spend much more time earning their riches than thinking about God. There are exception but it is not the common occurrence.

There are many things to consider and practice that are not a part of the commandments, such as the sins of pride, lust, selfishness, anger, sloth, greed, envy etc. it takes a lot of work to remove all of these from our lives. But they are all covered by the rule that we should love our God with our whole heart and mind and love our neighbor as ourselves.
