CONSTANCY
Paul writes, “I do leave undone the good that I should like to do and do evil that I should gladly leave undone”. This is the plight of all men. We are not constant in our devotion to God and Christ.
We hear or read something which moves us and we resolve to be more constant in our love of God, but in a very few days we have forgotten our promise to ourselves and return to our old ways. Or a tragedy strikes and we promise God that things will be different in our lives if He will only see us through, but as soon as God grants us a solution to our problems, our faithfulness fails and again it is business as usual in our lives.
It is very difficult for God to use us in his plans for the salvation of souls if He cannot depend upon us except only in our short lived demonstrations of faithfulness. Pray therefore that He imbues us with constancy and faithfulness that we could be used for greater things.
WHO ARE THE ISRALITES?
The bible follows the lives of the Israelites. Their history in the bible begins with Abraham, Jacob, Isaac etc. These people were chosen by God to be the first fruits, the first to incarnate on earth over and over again and to finally be the first to find their way back to Heaven since they were the least guilty in their fall from Heaven.
Many people from other nations also lived alongside the Israelites and likely some of those will also make it to Heaven as the first fruits but God concentrated on the Israelites and gave them his laws and made them an example to the other nations.
On several occasions the Israelites forsook God and lived as the other nations, giving up the worship of God to worship idols and each time, God allowed them to be overtaken by other nations and enslaved until they gave up their idolatry and returned to God.
These Israelites were finally scattered among other nations but God forgave them and re-gathered them. The last re-gathering that occurred was to fulfill a promise made by God that they would be given a new land and a new name where they would never again be enslaved. This new land is America and the new name is Christian. This country was founded on Christian principles by our forefathers. Most of the Israelites are now living in America along with many people who are not Israelites. Also not all Israelites have gathered in America, some are still in other countries especially the United Kingdom and some in the county of Israel. The name Jew is not synonymous with Israelite, this is where the churches make their mistakes, but Jesus did say that the name
“ Jew” would become a stumbling block and this is what we are seeing in the churches today. They are stumbling all over themselves and thinking that they must Christianize all the Jews, also that the new temple will be built in Jerusalem of old. They apply all of the revelations to the country of Israel rather than to the country of America.
And now that we, the Israelites, are re-gathered, we are again forsaking God and giving our lives to idols; true we do not sacrifice our children by killing them but we nevertheless allow them to be sacrificed on the altars of fame etc. and we live as if there were no God. And although our country was founded on Christianity we have now taken God out of our government, out of our schools and out of our lives.
As in times past, we will come upon difficult times until we learn to stand up for our Christian values. After the difficult times at the end of this age, Christ will rule us for 1000 years. After this, all or most of the Israelites should have gained to Heaven and perhaps the lives of those who will be the second fruits will begin.
BORN AGAIN?
Preachers use the phrase “born again” to mean that people should choose Jesus Christ as their savior. They cite the discourse between Jesus and Nicodemus for the explanation of this term.
What Jesus said to Nicodemus was, “Unless a man is born from above, he cannot see the kingdom of God”. Only people who had been incarnated from Heaven could return there, everyone else was a fallen spirit and was incarnated from below, still working out their salvation. The fallen spirits, even had they been ready for Heaven, could not enter because the gates of Heaven had been closed from the time of the fall of man from Heaven. A redeemer had to come to earth, die for mankind and then descend into hell to battle with Lucifer and win in order for the gates of Heaven to be opened. When Jesus returned from hell and materialized for his disciples, he then returned to Heaven and took the people who were ready for Heaven and had been waiting for the redeemer to open the gates.
So to be born again as Jesus meant it, was not accepting him as their savior since he was not yet their savior. Not until he had performed the task of dying on the cross and freeing us from Lucifer did he become the savior of mankind.
Nicodemus, on the other hand, was talking of reincarnation, but did not seem to understand that man must be born over and over again in a new body for each life in order to make themselves ready for Heaven, it is not possible to come to earth for only one life and learn all we need to learn to be ready. Jesus apprised him because he should have known better, since in that day everyone understood what reincarnation was.
