Abortion

Pro-life people insist that the fetus is a viable human being and deserves to be born. Pro-choice people insist that the fetus is the mother’s property and should live or die depending on the mother’s choice. No one really knows if the fetus is already a person, and the war wages on because our scientists do not have the answer either. Should the decision to allow a child to be born depend on this criterion?

What is the purpose of being born on this earth? Is it not in order that we may progress towards God and leave the world that is ruled by Lucifer? It takes so many lives to get to heaven and there are so many waiting for an available body so that they can get on with their progression. Each time a child is aborted that is one more opportunity denied for some spirit. So the waiting spirits have no choice but to continue their suffering in Lucifer’s realm until someone makes the decision to sacrifice their earthly goals in order to help another brother or sister.

We must understand that we are spirits ourselves with a body for the present time. When we leave this earth and return to the spirit world, we likely join the ranks of spirits who are anxiously awaiting an opportunity to take on a human body once again and continue our progress. If while on earth, we choose to abort a child, why should anyone give us another chance? I wonder if God believes in what goes around comes around? We surely hope for our sakes that he does not.

  Suicide

Definition of Suicide: To give up, to give in, to abdicate, to renege, to curtail, to terminate, to cancel, to abandon, to abort.

What type of person commits suicide? Someone who does not understand the true meaning of life. Someone who thinks life is all about the physical existence.

People commit suicide to avoid the challenges or the lessons that they encounter in their life. They decide they have failed at something; their business, their finances, their relationships etc. No one ever commits suicide for feeling inadequate in regard to their spiritual life.

A great deal of planning goes into the life of a person by the spirits and also by the person themselves before birth is allowed in this earth. When someone commits suicide they do not consider everyone on earth and in the spirit world who will be affected. Their concern is all about their own well-being. Does this sound selfish?

" There is time to be born and a time to die". If we interrupt the length of time that our spirit is housed by our body, must we fulfill our term anyway but now without a body? Do we now interrupt the plan for ourselves and for others who were dependent on us for their progress? What happens to the lessons to be learned, must we come back another time to learn them? Have we now added one more lesson, that of fulfilling our promise to ourselves and to others, including spirits and God?

 The Trinity

The word "trinity" means three, just three, not three in one, just three.

God is "one". There is only one God. No one but God is God. No one else can be God. We are all children of God and thereby we are a part of God in that respect but, we are not God nor is anyone else.

On earth, we all have a father, someone who gave us life. We are all a part of our father in that respect, but none of us are our father. We are the sons and daughters of our father, but not our father.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. His first-born son and therefore he is a part of His father who happens to be God. Jesus is not God himself any more than you are your father on earth.

The holy spirits are the children of God and are also not God. There are many holy spirits; we all can name several. The term "The Holy Spirit" used by many denominations is a collective noun.

We are all spirits. On earth we are housed in a physical body. Each person on earth is one spirit in one body. God’s laws or nature’s laws do not allow for one body to house more than one spirit.

Christ was given a human body in order that he be allowed to walk among us. Christ was one body that contained one spirit. Nature’s laws were not abrogated even for the birth of Jesus on this earth. It was not possible for Christ’s body to hold his spirit, God’s spirit and all the holy spirits all at the same time; even if you have decided that there is only one holy spirit, that is still too many spirits in one body. Does the word "mystery" come to mind? Are we to believe that Christ’s body could hold more than one spirit by calling this a mystery? Even on earth, we eventually can solve all so-called mysteries. The word "mystery" only means something we do not understand. So let us begin to understand, let us begin to solve the mystery.

While Jesus was on earth, he often prayed to God, his Father. On the cross, he pleaded in a moment of weakness to his Father. So if he was God, why was it necessary for him to pray to God? He prayed to his Father who was in heaven, who by the way could never be contained in a human body.

GUILT

We all suffer guilt at one time or another and in different degrees depending on our offense. The guilt trip is our vehicle by which we can self assess the workings of our conscience. Everyone is born with a working conscience but many of us destroy its effectiveness by overruling it to satisfy our earthly desires which are really nothing more than the enticements suggested to us by Lucifer’s henchmen to keep us bound to this earthly realm, his territory.

Since "guilt" is only a vehicle, we should learn how to drive it and when to step on the brakes. We need not remain in the driver’s seat constantly. To keep driving our guilt vehicle non stop is very difficult and could result in our inability to do much else with our lives. It could even cause us to have an accident where our thought processes go astray and medication is applied to us so that we can come to a complete stop.

The only purpose for our guilt is to assess our behavior, realize the harm we have inflicted and resolve not to travel that route again. Being human and best able to learn from our mistakes than from our successes, we may find ourselves on the same route over and over again, but with repeated attempts at correction we eventually will be capable of avoiding that route altogether, practice makes perfect.

Holding on to our guilt does not accomplish anything and only encourages us to feel despondent. Should we use our guilt to check ourselves and then move one, the new information we can receive by forward movement may be just the ticket to keep us on track. So, let us get off our guilt trip when we arrive at our destination and get on with our lives.

 Meditation

We all know what praying is, but what is meditation? Prayer and meditation are modes of speaking to God. They are the two sides of a conversation with God.

When we have a conversation with another, we say the words we have chosen and then we are silent while the other speaks their words. When we choose to speak to God we tend to pray only. We choose our words to thank him, to ask for favors etc. but do we ever let Him choose any words to say to us? Has it ever occurred to us to listen, truly listen with an open mind? This is called meditation.

True, God Himself does not utter the words, but he does send his angels or spirits to talk to us. These angels are with us always, some from our birth to guide and protect us and later some who specialize in every possible skill we can imagine. They are assigned to us depending on our interests and progression.

It takes a lot of practice to constantly hear our assigned angels. Let us think back to all the times that a thought just popped into our heads and it was exactly the answer we needed at that moment. We might say, "Well, we would have thought of it eventually", but maybe not. How about the times we wake up with the answer, who gave it to us then? We were not consciously working on the solution, we were asleep.

With practice, we can all receive our answers through meditation. Some of us get a sudden thought, others actually hear the words in our head and some of us hear the words audibly.

One word of caution about receiving our answers, we must always make absolutely sure who we are conversing with. If the answers do not seem to come from God, then guess who? If we pray with good intentions, we are not likely to hear our answers from the wrong side. Let us be careful whom we are listening to but let us ask our questions and listen for our answers.
